Hello, readers! My name is Brittany, and I'm a disabled mother on a mission to show the world that living with disabilities doesn't have to limit your dreams. At the age of 17, a life-altering car accident left me paralyzed, confining me to a wheelchair. Despite the challenges I face every day, I've learned to embrace life's possibilities, and I'm here to share my journey with you.
But my story doesn't end with my own disability. I'm also the proud mother of a remarkable 7-year-old boy named Logan, who was diagnosed with autism when he was just 23 months old. Doctors told us he might never form meaningful relationships or even speak. Yet, as a family, we refused to accept these limitations.
Joining us on this extraordinary journey is my husband, Paul, a medically retired army veteran. Together, we have discovered that the world is full of wonders waiting to be explored, and we're determined to see it all.
One of our greatest passions is traveling. We firmly believe that exploring new places and experiencing different cultures should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities. Through this blog, we aim to inspire and guide others who may have disabilities or face similar challenges, proving that travel knows no boundaries.
We will share our personal stories, experiences, and the valuable lessons we've learned along the way. Our goal is to encourage individuals with disabilities and their families to step out of their comfort zones, to embrace the unknown, and to embark on unforgettable adventures.
From discovering wheelchair-friendly destinations to navigating autism-friendly activities, we'll provide insights, tips, and resources to empower you to embark on your own remarkable journeys. We want to demonstrate that, indeed, the only limit is you!
So, whether you're a traveler with a disability seeking inspiration, a curious adventurer looking to learn, or simply someone interested in our unique perspective, we invite you to join us on this incredible expedition.
Together, let's break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and redefine what it means to live a life full of adventure and limitless possibilities."
Stay tuned for our upcoming posts, where we'll dive deeper into our experiences, offer practical advice, and share heartwarming stories that will inspire you to embark on your own extraordinary adventures. Welcome to our world of exploration, where disabilities become strengths and dreams come alive!
